Taking Things For Granted

too many people today take every little thing for granted. No one really sees what they have until its gone and they can no longer have it back. I know i for sure did take things for granted until i saw how many friends i was losing and family members. losing loved ones and friends really was an eye opener for me to realize you are never really promised tomorrow. so because of that you should always live your life to the fullest because you do not know what the next move is going to be. I think peopel do not have a great appreciation for things until its to late and then it truly is to late. even if its not someone passing away in your family it could be another thing such as how good you may have it. some people complain because they do not like the type of car they have because its not nice enough but they never realize that not everyone gets a brand new car for their first car. Some people have to work and earn their things and their parents do not hand everyhing to them. but then the people that always have the nice things and the newest things may not always have the easiest lifes at home. sometimes people only get the best because the people around them are trying to make up for what they have done wrong

Picking a Major

Now that your in college there is no turning back you have to know exactly what you want to do in life. so you can take the right requirements to be successful in these jobs that you will have for the rest of your life. Now picking what you want to do with your life is more complicated then you would think it really is. some people just think they will do what they think they are made out to do and half way through that decided that they arent really interesting in that and changed everything that they have been working on which sets them back. If you really think about it you made it this far why are you going to do anything tht is going to set you back anymore. whats the point in that right now i just wnat to get school over with and start with my actual life. Live by myself and earn my own money i know a lot of people that arent like that and think they can live off of their parents money and in their house for the rest of their life but im not one of those people. i cant wait to step out into the real world and do my own thing. I want to have a job that i love and actually dont mind doing and make a good amount of money so i dont have to depend on anyone but myself for that kind of stuff. hopefully by the end of this year though i will know what type of major i want to be in

People Change

as we grow up you start to realize that everything and everyone around you is changing. sometimes it is a tough though to swollow but after a while of it you begin to get used to these changes around you. you may not like them but you can't pick what you are handed in life just deal with it. I know that it might sound a little mean saying that but its the truth. Everyone is going change and you can't fight them on that you simply just have to let them for their and your sake. The choices you make in life will help you in the long run eventually. When i was little i was a completely differnt person but the more i grow up and see whaqts going on around me i keep changing not to be the same as all the new people i meet but to protect myself from the people and things i don;t want in my life. So when things around you are changing you cant fight them on it you just got to go with whats going on and eventually it will pay off. It might hurt at first but in the end it will be worth the change

St Johns

I am no longer a Senior and the highest in the school i am back to the bottom of the "food chain" but in college they do not really care that much what you are they treat you all equal. Even though i am in a different school it is the almost the same place. See my high school is up the block from st Johns. and the campuses are very similiar such they are small. and we have a huge lawn to play on. Just like you have the beginning of the year bbq we would have a field day. The only difference is that in high school we would have to wear a uniform we were not allowed to wear whatever we liked. So see there are many things thaqt are similiar and that are not, but even though they are a like these two expeirences will be completely differnt in their own ways. and now that i have finished one chapter i am ready to move on to my other one.

Friends

Did you ever realize that when you grow up the friends that you grew up with somehow drift away. As I think back to my childhood friends and the ones i have now it seems that many of the people i used to be good friends with i don't even speak to anymore. Its not that were not friends anymore its just that were not that close anymore. If they were ever in need of anything i would try to help them as best as i could. But it just shows that the people you truly need stick by your side and are with you ever step of the way in the good and bad. They will always put up with you and even though they annoy you sometimes they will never give up on you like some of the people in your past may have. From looking back on this it made me realize i rather have a small group of real friends then a big group of people that i don't even know if their truly there for me. and i would never want anyone else to help me through these tough years then the people i have today.

Growing up

When i was growing up all i wanted to was go out and have fun not caring what happened. the more i mature now i'm starting to see where my values are and what is important to me and what is not. Now instead of doing whatever i want i play by the rules a little bit more now then i ever did. because i finally realized that everything has consequences. I guess when you start to grow up you have to being responsible for your actions. it was so much easier when your younger though. i always wish that i could go back to when i was younger and relive it again. even though i wouldnt want to go through it again i would love to just be carefree again for one last time. since now that we are in college we can't afford to make anymore mistakes.

Surprise party

Now for my birthday i wasnt really looking forward to it because it was bringing us closer to the ending of school and also my last day of orientation was on my birthday. the night before my birthday i usually spend with my friend from elemartary school we've been doing this for a couple of years now. I just wanted to be at my own house for my birthday. When i got home my sister and cousins had surprised me with balloons and the presents they had gotten me. I did not really know what i wanted to do for my birthday but i figured that some point during the day i would know exactly what i would want to do. At 6 i decided i wanted to go out to dinner with my family and my best friend. Since i had decided so late we had to wait for my dad to get home for work and by the time he got home it was 730 so when we went to the first place it was packed. so my cousin suggested somewhere else to go. we went there but by the time we finished eating it was already pretty late. and everyone was acting like they didnt want to do anything so this was jut putting me in a miserable mood. i mean all my friends didnt even come hang out they all said they had to do other things and didnt even come to my house. So i was misreable and just wanted for the day to end. Now two days later my older cousin asked me if i wanted to go to jersey to go shopping so i went with her and my sister and cousin decided that they wanted to go see the dark knight in imax. which i wanted to go to i have always been i really big batman fan. but the only thing was little. but the only problem was that they were leaving and we were still in jersey and we had to go all the way to the city. so my cousin began to fight with her brother and then finally she said that she would just drive and to tell them to wait. so we pulled up to my uncles house and when we walked in the backyard ther were all my friends. they had planned me a surprise party and thats why they were avoiding me on my actuall birthday. i was no longer mad about anything and actually extremely happy because i always wanyted a surprise party and it turned out to be one of the best nights of the summer
